Dr. Donald W. Warren Bio
Dr. Donald W. Warren has practiced general dentistry in Clinton, Arkansas since 1975. He received a BA from Hendrix College and a DDS degree from the University Tennessee College of Dentistry. After receiving his DDS, Dr. Warren instructed crown and bridge techniques and clinical applications at U.T. Dental School. Since then, he has continued to study in his fields of expertise. Dr. Warren was appointed by President Clinton to serve on the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy for two years.
Dr. Warren has treated thousands of pain patients with conservative treatments yet is also adept with more advanced techniques. Some of his more conservative treatments include Dental Cranial Osteopathy for Temporal Mandibular Dysfunction and head/neck pain, Resultant Force Vectors of occlusion to maintain and correct dental occlusion, Orthopedics/Orthodontics and whole food nutrition from Standard Process, Inc. Dr. Warren is a Diplomate of the Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the Academy of Pain Management and also a Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Dentistry. Utilizing state of the art Acoustic Reflection technology and 3D imaging, Dr. Warren obtains reproducible objective measurements of the airway to aid in titration for airway orthotic construction. His ability to help snoring and airway related sleep disorder (ARSD) has enabled many to regain energy and obtain a better quality of life. Dr. Warren treats most ARSD cases with FDA approved mandibular repositioning appliances (MRA) and Standard Process nutritional support.
Dr. Warren has used Standard Process products for twenty years in his practice and has lectured extensively since 1989 on Standard Process nutrition for dental health and wellness. His lectures also include noninvasive treatment for the head, neck & facial pain patient, dental occlusion and dental cranial osteopathic techniques. His seminars have been accredited by the Academy of General Dentistry since 1999. He has also instructed hands-on clinics at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, hosted by the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation. Dr. Warren lectured on nutrition and dental occlusion at the 2003 Chicago Dental Society Mid-Winter meeting for dentists and twice for the American Association of Microendocrinologist Annual Conference. For the past eleven years he has been a guest speaker for the Smart Practice Dental Seminars. Dr. Warren has taught in the United States, the United Kingdom, South America and Australia.
For the past two years, Dr. Don has joined other Arkansas dentists at the two day Mission of Mercy outreach program. This event provides free dental services each year for low-income and uninsured Arkansans.
