Implants

What is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge and will also help stabilize dentures. Dental implants are an ideal option for people in good general oral health who have lost a tooth or teeth.

Will implants work for me?

If you have only one missing tooth, a dental crown on a dental implant is a great choice for replacement. Like the natural root, a dental implant provides the foundation for a dental crown. Dr. Darryl uses Nobel Biocare titanium dental implants and Cerec all ceramic crowns that look and function much like the missing tooth did. Nobel Biocare has a forty-year history of success stories using dental implants and leads the dental implant market.

What Can Dental Implants Do?

  • Replace one or more teeth without affecting bordering teeth.
  • Support a bridge and eliminate the need for a removable partial denture.
  • Provide support for a denture, making it more secure and comfortable.

What can I expect on my first appointment?

After a complete oral examination which includes x-rays and models, Dr. Darryl will then be able to make recommendations for your implant treatment. By utilizing 3D software and NewTom technology he is able to provide accurate and precise implant placement in one appointment.
